Editorial illustration requires turning complex ideas into clear, immediate visuals under real deadlines. This page collects work created for The Atlantic, Monocle Magazine, The Information, and Penguin Random House spanning interactive infographics, editorial vignettes, tech news spot illustration, and icon design for print.
A collaborative editorial project with The Atlantic's design team, creating a single interactive infographic for IBM's Social Business advertising series. The piece combined two distinct experiences: the customer's mobile retail shopping journey and a smarter workforce across home, office, and conference room environments. The work spanned co-art direction, UX/UI design, and illustration, with final interactive implementation built for web.

Editorial vignettes created for Issues 44 and 45 covering global stories across relationships, culture, and society. The assignments ranged from marriage traditions across four continents to cultural institutions including cinemas, concerts, libraries, and museums. Each illustration required its own visual treatment while maintaining a consistent editorial tone across both issues.

Spot illustrations created for a subscription-based tech news publication known for deep reporting on startups, venture capital, and the business of technology. Produced over four years, each piece required distilling complex narratives around climate tech investment, satellite technology, social media platforms, streaming, and global markets into a single, conceptually precise image.

Icon design for Penguin Random House's "Do One Thing Every Day to Simplify Your Life," a 365-day self-help journal. Each icon symbolized a specific instructional point and served as a section header guiding readers through themes of work, life, and personal clarity. Developed collaboratively with the art director and publisher through multiple rounds of feedback, with all final files delivered as print-ready vectors.
