Challenge
AI-generated work cannot be copyrighted, and when human creativity mixes with AI output, ownership becomes murky with no clear formula and courts still deciding where the line is. Businesses and entire creative industries are exposing themselves to that uncertainty without realizing it. The challenge was to take dense, unresolved legal territory and make it readable, fast, and impossible to dismiss, without lecturing or finger-pointing.
Approach
The piece is structured as a tension-building editorial series, 14 screens that move from legal exposure to resolution. A WWII poster aesthetic was chosen deliberately. It evokes handmade human artistry, signals urgency without alarm, and anchors the work in a visual tradition associated with collective action and civic responsibility. The framing throughout is empowering rather than accusatory: if this is the outcome you want, here is how you get there.
Outcome
The style frames phase is complete, with motion design in After Effects as the next step. Once completed, it will be released across social media as a primer, prompting businesses and creatives to think critically about whether AI-generated content is a wise long-term strategy or simply a short-term convenience.
Role
Sole creator: concept, IP research, narrative strategy, storyboarding, motion design, information design, copywriting, and visual direction.

Style Frames

Fourteen screens mapping the narrative arc from legal exposure to resolution, designed for social media release.

“Too many companies now treat AI‑generated output as their competitive edge. I want to mark the trap for other business owners: in the age of AI, the copyright reality does not match the hype.”
